Intern Programme

Our Intern Programme looks to recruit undergraduates and graduates, whether you are in finishing your 1st, 2nd or final year at University, you would be welcome to join Arqiva for an Internship.  Our aim is to offer long term career opportunities, this means there is a very real potential for our interns to return and join our graduate programme in 2018.

Specifically we look for those studying Engineering, IT, Physics, Maths or Telecommunications related degrees, although we sometimes offer a small number of internships for those studying Project Management, Business Management, Finance & HR related degrees.  Specific to this year’s programme we are offering an internship in Smart M2M where degrees in the Humanities, Science and Social Science will be considered, the emphasis being on communication, presentation skills and analysis.

We hire Interns into specific roles with clear deliverables.  You will get close to the action and see a lot of our business as well as work on some critical broadcast, telecoms and corporate projects.  There is support from your line manager and local team.  If you have questions or want to register your interest please email tracy.bevan@arqiva.com

Why Join

If you are looking for an opportunity that will challenge, develop and inspire you Arqiva is the place for you. We are looking for people who are passionate about working in one of the most interesting industries out there. It is not all about your qualifications, we want to know whether you have the drive and commitment to succeed in our business.

We encourage innovation and ingenuity, support each other and are passionate about developing and rewarding talent. We’re very proud of our culture that enables everyone to fulfil their potential and enjoy playing their part in helping us to achieve our future ambitions whilst delivering for our customers.

Recruitment Process

Firstly we’ll ask you to complete an online application form, to find out a bit more about you. If you are successful through this stage, we’ll invite you to a telephone interview to chat about your values, your strengths and what you want from the role.

If you are successful at the telephone interview, we’ll invite you to an Assessment Centre, where you’ll get a chance to visit one of our sites.

Ahead of the telephone interview and any subsequent stages we will give you advice and tips to enable you to prepare as well as possible. We want to see the best of you.
Giving you straightforward feedback is also really important to us. So if you are unsuccessful at either the telephone interview or assessment centre stage, we’ll give you helpful feedback to build on for future applications. We also like to differentiate ourselves from other companies by making our decisions quickly and letting you know the outcome within a week of your Assessment Centre.
