Your things are ready to talk. Are you ready to listen? We’re unlocking the promise of the internet of things, creating fresh opportunities for service providers
Opportunities for IoT service providers
We’re building a new national internet of things (IoT) communications network that will unlock the potential of the internet of things, by making it simple and cost-effective to connect low-power devices. This will create a host of fresh opportunities for IoT service providers, from developing new applications through to fully managed services.
There are billions of devices, and countless applications, from smoke alarms to advertising billboards, where low-power connectivity could provide significant value for businesses and consumers alike. We will enable this new low-power market by providing an easy to install, cost-effective approach to connectivity. It has considerably lower lifetime cost with lower energy consumption so that batteries and devices need replacing far less frequently.
Arqiva's IoT network partnership
To make this possible, we’ve partnered with SIGFOX, a pioneer in cost-effective, energy-efficient Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity. Our strengths in running national infrastructure and communications services, combined with the power of the SIGFOX global ecosystem, mean we will be able to bring the benefits of connected devices to organisations across numerous industries.
Arqiva is the SIGFOX Network Operator (SNO) for the UK. Our IoT service will connect the UK to the SIGFOX Global Network, which includes a wide ecosystem of device manufacturers and service providers.
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to discuss the potential for collaboration to provide IoT services using our narrowband internet of things network.
