Connect TVFreeview viewers with internet-enabled TVs or set-top boxes will now have three more channels to choose from with Magic, Kiss and Kerrang! now being available alongside the already popular, 4Music. Using Arqiva’s Connect TV platform, Box TV can get much closer to the fast-growing connected TV audience. It has allowed them to develop a viewer destination for music lovers, they can now provide viewers with additional content with the press of a red button.

Julie Wright, business development and commercial director at Box TV, said: “Music and TV consumption patterns are changing and we are now able to meet our core 16-34 audiences on their preferred connected device and on compatible Freeview devices. We know that editorialised music videos and music programming are still a key consumer choice for music discovery and to be able to offer this choice via Connect TV’s solution, is fantastic for consumers, advertisers and the music industry alike.”
