Innovations for an ever-changing world at IBC 2017, 14-19 September
Arqiva exists for one very simple reason: to connect our customers with their customers. We provide much of the infrastructure for TV, radio, satellite and wireless communications brands in the UK and across the globe. We’re also committed to innovation: in content preparation and management, platforms, distribution and consumption. It all ensures content owners and broadcasters can enhance and monetise their assets, reduce costs and reach all of their audiences. Our IBC activities will demonstrate this commitment.
Co-designed with our customers, we’ll be showcasing Arqiva InSite, a customer portal designed to resolve the complex challenges of media workflows. We’ll also share our plans to virtualise playout and media asset management services in the innovation lounge. And we’ll report on our on-going 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) trial - faster than 4G and less costly than fibre, this is the first of its kind in Europe. Plus, we’ll be demonstrating a range of new services that really matter to broadcasters and content owners, including our IP Streaming solution and our fully managed Direct to Consumer (D2C) OTT service proposition. You can also experience our new Pop-up and Remote playout services, designed to boost current capabilities and help broadcasters break into new markets.
In addition, if you’re attending the IBC conference, you’ll be able to hear expert advice on cyber security from our Chief Information Security Officer, Denis Onuoha:
