Arqiva notes the publication of the Competition Commission's Provisional Findings report and the associated notice of possible remedies with respect to its inquiry into the completed acquisition of National Grid Wireless Group by Macquarie UK Broadcast Ventures Ltd (parent company of Arqiva). This is the next stage in the Competition Commission process and no final decisions have been taken.

Arqiva will continue to work constructively with the Commission on the concerns the Commission has identified, and remains confident that these issues can be addressed to the satisfaction of all parties.

Arqiva and National Grid Wireless will remain subject to a ‘Hold Separate' arrangement during the review process and will continue to operate as discrete entities.  The Competition Commission has advised that the review process is expected to be completed by January 2008.
