Arqiva has appointed Debbie Dickinson as Managing Director, Wireless Solutions, bringing expertise in rapid growth and business development from a distinguished career in telecommunications.  Arqiva's Wireless Solutions division markets the company's 2000-strong towers portfolio and provides shared-access cellular infrastructure services inside buildings and in city centres.

Debbie Dickinson joins Arqiva from Crown Castle UK where she was General Manager, Mobile and also includes senior posts at Siemens and Mercury/Cable & Wireless in her CV.

Commenting on her move to Arqiva, Ms Dickinson said: "The key attraction was that Arqiva is now an independent business with its own strategic direction for growth and change.  I thrive in this sort of environment and plan to work closely in partnership with the customer base to jointly create sustainable business models.  I'm particularly excited by the potential of Arqiva's In-Building and CityCell products and feel that the time is right to develop these offerings.  There are exciting times ahead."

Arqiva CEO Tom Bennie added: "I'm delighted to welcome some new blood to our operating board.  Debbie has an excellent track record in achieving step growth in sales and business development.  I'm sure she will make a great contribution to Arqiva."

In her spare time Debbie Dickinson is a keen Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiast and an active member of the Harley Owners Group.  She has ridden all around Europe and Thailand with her husband who also owns a Harley.
