Managing Director, Satellite & Media

Nick joined Arqiva in July 2005 following the acquisition of Inmedia Communications. He has subsequently led the team responsible for creating one of the world's largest independent satellite services businesses, with top-line growth of over 750% in 3 years, and including the successful acquisition of BT's satellite broadcast business in April 2007.  Arqiva's satellite division now has operations in the UK, France, Italy, Holland and the USA, with customers on a near global basis.

Nick was previously Chief Executive Officer of Inmedia having led the senior management team's successful management buy-out of the Inmedia division from Kingston Communications (Hull) Plc in April 2004, the MBO being backed by one of the world's largest private equity firms, The Carlyle Group.

Nick joined Kingston Communications in the summer of 2000, taking on the role of managing director of the Kingston Inmedia division and prior to that was European President of Loral CyberStar, a business formed in 1999 by Loral Space & Communication's consolidation of Loral Orion with the then newly acquired Williams Global Access Services.  Nick led the sale of the Global Access business unit to Loral, having successfully managed the business for 3 years whilst part of Williams Communications, Inc.
