Michael Giles was appointed Group Commercial Director of the newly enlarged Arqiva in September 2008, following the acquisition of National Grid Wireless and the start of integration into Arqiva.

Michael was previously in charge of integration planning for the acquisition, having undertaken a similar task as Commercial Director at NTL when the cable company merged with Telewest in 2006.

Before that Michael was in senior legal and commercial roles at NTL Business and Arqiva's direct predecessor NTL Broadcast, where he was responsible for overseeing major contract negotiations.
