Dave joined Arqiva in early 2005 as strategy director, his role encompassing the long-term development of Arqiva, as well as regulatory policy, corporate marketing and communications.  He rejoined the company following a period as director of strategy and marketing at NTL's business telecommunications division.  Since 2005, Dave has led teams on the acquisitions of Inmedia from Carlyle in 2005, and of the broadcast satellite business from BT in 2006-07, as well as competition clearance of the BT and NGW acquisitions.

Prior to NTL Business, Dave held a number of roles within Arqiva (then NTL Broadcast).  He was managing director of the Wireless business from 1998 leading it through a period of rapid and sustained growth, and before that held business development roles in the wireless and public safety businesses, undertaking a range of network build projects for the UK's mobile operators.

Prior to NTL Dave was 15 years with multinational services company Schlumberger where he held a number of roles in general management, marketing, product development and project management for its test and telemetry businesses.  Working in the telecoms, utilities and semiconductor markets, he has been responsible for market development and support across Europe, Asia and the US.

Dave lives in the New Forest with his wife and family, counting cycling and running among his leisure interests.
