Corporate Responsibility

Our commitment to accountability and transparency

corporate responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is all about companies taking into account their impact on society and the environment, and acting voluntarily to raise performance beyond minimum legal standards. All companies exist to make money but, for responsible companies like Arqiva, CSR is about how we go about making money, as well as how we spend it. It’s about ethics and values - minimising our negative impact on the environment and maximising our positive impact on our society of customers, suppliers, local communities and employees.

Our Mission

“Arqiva will endeavour to conduct its business in a way that benefits its customers, suppliers, employees, shareholders and the communities in which the company operates. In conducting its business activities, Arqiva will give due regard for impact on the environment.”

Our commitment

At Arqiva we are proud of a heritage that goes back to the start of broadcasting. The reputation we have earned is based on reliability, integrity, professionalism and an adherence to high standards. As the owner and operator of critical national infrastructure, Arqiva is a key enabler of Digital Britain.

As we progress into that exciting new era, we view Corporate Social Responsibility as an integral part of good business management. In conducting our business we are determined to embrace the concepts of accountability and transparency, to make a positive contribution to the wider community and ensure that the impact we have on the world around us is a positive one.

We have a comprehensive programme of CSR activities and these can be divided into four main categories:

  • Environment
  • People
  • Customer and suppliers
  • Community
