Dave Ellis joined Arqiva (as NTL Broadcast) in early 2005 as strategy director, with responsibility for the long-term strategic direction of the company as well as corporate marketing and communications.  He re-joined the business after a period as Director of Marketing and Strategy at NTL Business.

Within NTL Broadcast he had been managing director of the Towers & Sites business since 1998, leading it through a period of rapid and sustained growth.  Under his leadership the business, which was later to become Arqiva's Wireless Solutions division, pioneered the development of the market for shared In-Building and urban coverage systems as new approaches to providing wireless coverage.
 
Dave joined NTL in1995, responsible initially for commercial projects in its Radio Communications business, undertaking a range of network build projects for many of the UK's leading mobile operators.

Prior to NTL he was 15 years with multinational services company Schlumberger, where he held a number of roles in general management, marketing, product development and project management for its test equipment and telemetry businesses.  Working in the telecoms, utilities and semiconductor markets, he has been responsible for market development and support across Europe, Asia and the US.

Dave lives in the New Forest with his wife and family, counting cycling and running among his leisure interests.
